Sarah is on a stepladder (in heels!! I never noticed them until this picture) trying to hang wallpaper in a paint-spattered smock. It’s the do-it-yourself craze. John tells us they’re remodeling the basement into a rumpus room and looking forward to a few rumpuses of their own. He’s also rigged an "automatic paint-stirring machine" out of Sarah's food mixer, likely ruining it according to Sarah, and when it spins out of control it splashes paint on Sarah’s rump…er…rump—us room. John quips, if you’re going to get married, marry a girl with a sense of humor.
