It never fails—bring a raincoat and the sun shines all day, but leave it behind and the skies open up. Today, you were walking past The American Adventure and America Gardens Theatre when the light drizzle that honestly felt kind of nice turned without warning into a proper Florida downpour. Thank goodness you were coming up on the Japan Pavilion, because who can’t pass a little happy time browsing in Mitsukoshi?
After wandering the shop for a while and buying yourself a box of whatever incense they were burning and a snack from that section in the back, you wander out to find a table to sit and eat. The temperature seems like it’s dropped 20 degrees and the humidity has left the air. It’s not going to last, but for the moment it’s a cool, beautiful day.
A kind Cast Member sees you approaching and wipes down your favorite table by the upper waterfall at Katsura Grill. You settle in and open your bottle of tea and Japanese snacks and enjoy this view for what feels like the hundredth time, feeling miles from the busy crowds just beyond the pagoda.
