Fifty-four years later and it still gets me excited every time. I can only imagine how out-of-this-world it seemed in 1971 when the monorail opened its doors for the first time to see it cruising straight into the building.
Caught this drive-by quickly over head on a walk from Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary. It's simple as can be, but sometimes that's all you need to capture the feel of a place.
Shot at 150mm with my shutter slowed to 2/5 sec to capture the movement of the monorail against the still building. Aperture quickly dialed up to f/10 to cut the light back. ISO settled at 100.
This print will stay up in the shop until around 10 p.m. (Eastern) tonight (February 15th), at which point it will be de-listed from the shop in these formats.
