It's been lots of grand pictures lately. Big scenes. Iconic views. Oceans and monorails. Today, I wanted to get back to our roots a little. Beauty in the smallest details. Color. Flags made from bits of fabric. A bell. The little details in the parks, this time Disney's Animal Kingdom, that become art when you give them just a little of your attention and let yourself forget where you are. The stuff you can hang on your walls and have it be your little secret that it's Disney World.

Don't get me wrong, I love the big iconic scenes. But this is what's really at the heart of what we do here and what I love to photograph. The little details that make this place so much more than a theme park.

Taken at 135mm, 1/500 second, f/2.8, ISO 125.
