I'll never tire of pictures of her. She’s my favorite part of any parade in all of Disney. So different from everything else around her. A bit of darkness to counter the light.
I couldn't decide which of these I liked more. Loved seeing more of her face here and figured you might agree—but the obstruction of the fire in this second one just caught my eye and I couldn't not include it. So you get two today! They'd look cool stacked, actually, since I color graded and otherwise edited them in the same way.
Taken at 70mm to focus on only her, 1/400 second, f/6.3, ISO 100. I could have taken down the exposure of the sky to bring out more blue and clouds, but chose not to. I love that she is the one and only focal point. As she should be.
And a fun fact...Eleanor Audley, who voiced the original Maleficent, also voiced Lady Tremaine in the original 1950 Cinderella. And later voiced Madame Leota for the Haunted Mansion attractions at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. What a voice she had.
