I've always wanted to capture these hot air balloons properly in a photograph—the funny thing is, they don't translate all that easily into two dimensions. I've tried so many different angles and edits, but this is the first time I've been happy with the result.
For everyone who loves everything about The Land pavilion, I give you: The Hot Air Balloons that hang from the ceiling over Sunshine Seasons.
The settings for this were pretty simple with the goal of maximizing light: 150mm, 1/50 sec, f/2.8, ISO 500. The real magic was in the edits. I cooled down the color palette and softened the overall feel while simultaneously sharpening the details. The overall effect is subtle enough for your walls at home but unmistakably EPCOT.
