Yesterday was my mother’s 75th birthday and they’re in town, so we headed to Disney in the evening to celebrate her. She chose the San Angel Inn Restaurante in the Mexico Pavilion for dinner and I was actually more than pleasantly surprised. Our last visit there years ago hadn’t been great, but we hadn’t been since, and this time the meal really impressed me. They also have some mocktails on the menu that were fantastic—miles above the usual super-sweet lemonade concoctions.
On the way out they stopped to watch Luminous and so I was wandering near the United Kingdom pavilion and found myself all alone with the phone booths in relative quiet. Started thinking about how many times I’ve probably ducked into one for a photo op over the decades and decided to capture this.
