I hope I don't get hate for this, but in all honesty I didn't weep over the closing of Dinoland. (Or whatever reaction would be appropriate for a disappointed grown woman over the closing of an area in Disney World...) Outside of riding Dinosaur from time to time or grabbing the occasional burger at Restaurantosaurus, while the area was campy and cute, we haven't exactly spent a lot of time there since my kids outgrew the Boneyard, and I'm always down to see what the Imagineers are cooking up. But now that the holidays are upon us, I'm missing it a bit more. I was going through old pictures yesterday and this whole area used to be so cute during this season. The retro vibe really lent itself to Christmas lights and decorations. The way they decorated this huge dinosaur at the entrance really summed it up. Kind of makes me sad that it's now extinct in more ways than one.

Taken at 35mm, 1/320 second, f/8, ISO 100.
