This has always been the scene that hit for me. I know it’s lighthearted, but when he jokes about entering a new thing called “the rat race”—I wince every time. It calls me back to when I was in law, living in Maryland and working in Northern Virginia and sometimes spending upwards of 3-4 hours on the road every day. There were a whole, whole lot of things wrong with life back at the time of this scene. But I do long for a pre-rat race world. I suppose these days it’s up to us to make it ourselves. I guess that's kind of what I'm trying to do here.
Shot with my 100-400mm at around 300mm, f/6.3, 1/100 seconds, ISO 6400.
