Yesterday, we took a pause at the top of Main Street before kicking off our morning in Magic Kingdom. Today, we turn that corner into Tomorrowland and look up at the blue sky and the very edge of the Astro Orbiter from the distance.
The Astro Orbiter closed for refurbishment earlier this year...and soon after we were surprised to see the entire attraction dismantled and gone, as apparently they're doing the refurbishment off-site and bringing it back again at a later date.
No reason to believe otherwise, and I'm sure the attraction will be back soon—but in the interim there's definitely something missing from the Magic Kingdom skyline.
Took this with my 90mm lens and cropped in to focus on the planets. Settings were simple: f/8, 1/800 seconds, ISO 100.
