Last week we were wandering Flower & Garden and decided to walk back into the Canada Pavilion as we were heading out. It's been a bit since I walked all of the way back to the waterfall, so after wandering the gardens for a little while we headed all of the way back to that overlook. I stood on the landing directly in front of the water for awhile and took some pictures, but wanted something a little more interesting, so I climbed the steps to a different vantage point that included these hanging lights as well.
There's just something about the sight or sound of running water that brings me peace. I was using my 50mm lens and wanted to capture the waterfall's movement, so lowered my shutter speed to 1/8 seconds and upped my aperture to f/11 to keep everything in focus and tamp down the light. ISO settled at 160.
