The Morocco Pavilion opened in 1984—the first expansion pavilion to be added to World Showcase after EPCOT opened in 1982. It was unique in being the first and only pavilion that was (until recent years) sponsored and in part designed by the subject country’s government. The entire space is beautiful; and if you look carefully, you’ll notice that there are no representations of people anywhere in the pavilion. This avoidance of that iconography is for religious reasons. (It's also why the section isn't generally lit during the evening shows.)

This tower, which hovers imposingly over the rest of the pavilion, is a replica of the Koutoubia Minaret, the prayer tower of a 12th century mosque in Marrakesh. The blur of a bright, hazy moon was directly overhead the night I took this. You can feel the heat in the air.

Camera settings were simple: ~70mm, 1/50 sec, f/4, ISO 1000.
