Been jumping all over this week—and where better to land at the finish than here at EPCOT, in the artist formerly known as Future World? I've always loved this angle on the monorail and I'm always playing with ways to capture it. This was originally a landscape shot that I ended up cropping to this, leaning into the layers and compression rather than putting the monorail opposite the pavilion for more balance. The sun was in just the right spot, and I wanted its light casting down on every element—from the windows of the monorail and pavilion to the backlighting of the upside-down fountain and its perfect outline reflection in the water below. The whole scene glows with late evening light.
