To the average person this might seem like a random shot; but if you've ever had a meal outside at the Poly you know the crows are everywhere. Just last week I was eating outside Captain Cook's with my family and they were checking out their meal options and flying around the umbrellas like an obstacle course.
Crows are incredibly intelligent animals—they've been known to problem solve with tools, remember faces for years, and bring trinket gifts to favored humans. So it's no surprise they've figured out that Captain Cook's (and nearby Trader Sam's or the Pineapple Lanai) are great spots to steal a meal.
