I know the holidays are behind us, but I realized yesterday that I hadn't shared one of my other favorite shots of Studios in the rain over the holiday season, so thought I'd squeeze it in today anyway. And really, the decorations are just a little extra sparkle. It was pouring so hard that night that I had a lot of rare, clear views. And today is my late dad's birthday, which made me want to do something a little special and made the whole "crossroads" theme feel appropriate.
Plus today was the first race of marathon weekend, and it was a Pluto-themed 5K, so that little guy on the upper right is on point.
Took this at 35mm and 1/40 second, f/1.4, and ISO 160 to drink up every ounce of available light. Edits were gentle, just drew out the colors, enhanced the reflections a bit, and reduced clarity to make things feel a little dreamier.
