For all of Disney's fancy new attractions, my kids have always loved Speedway. When we went when they were a little younger, it was all they ever asked to ride.
I can mark their growing up by the height requirements. 32" to ride, a little bigger to give me whiplash with the steering wheel, then strong enough to push the pedals next to me, then 54" to drive alone—but a little longer until they were actually ready to do it. Even I get tired trying to hold that gas pedal down the whole time.
In any event, this attraction is full of memories for me and I took this photograph of it from the monorail on a warm, rainy night in Magic Kingdom with firework smoke still lingering in the background.
I didn't have much light and we were moving, so options were a bit limited. Shot with my 50mm at f/1.2, 1/100 sec, ISO 400. Embracing the grain in the image as a symptom of the movement and the dark.
