If I know anything, I know that these antlers might appear heavy—but they're actually filled with a honeycomb structure that's quite light and actually helps to keep the Ankole cool. Or so my safari drivers have told me time and again for years.
Forever one of my favorite views on safari and the little pop of color from this truck was an absolute gift. I was shooting with my 100-400mm this day but zoomed out to 118mm for this shot to get more of the landscape. Sped up my shutter to 1/800 sec to limit light with my aperture at f/6.3. ISO was set on auto within a safe range and landed at 400.
