We were on DCL's newest ship, the Destiny, last week and it was my first ever visit to Disney’s Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. The island feels like another world. The sand is soft and the water is a clear shade of blue that hardly feels real. I took a walk out toward the bluffs in the distance on the beach and on the way, in a more deserted part of the path, stumbled upon this. Two chairs by the water in the rising tide that had been sitting there long enough for their legs to be anchored deep in the sand. The scene felt like it was begging you to sit down for a minute and breathe.
I took countless pictures, but this was my favorite. Taken at 45mm, 1/160 second to soften the water, f/8 to bring everything into focus, and ISO 100.
