The number of sightlines in the Japan Pavilion is almost staggering. That they've managed to work so many views into such a confined space. Here, from above the koi pond toward the front of the pavilion area, we can look up and see each layer of the space. The foliage, the bridge over the water, the front facade of Katsura Grill, the red umbrellas of the outdoor eating space beside it, and the castle in the distance. All working together to create the final scene. It makes you appreciate how much the Imagineers do to frame the full image as much as each individual part.
