I realized after last week that we are definitely nowhere near done with Disneyland pictures...but I was excited to keep sharing photos from California Adventure as well, starting with this, so we're popping over there today.
Every evening in California Adventure's Cars Land, right after sunset, "Sh-Boom" starts playing and all of the land's neon signs and lights come to life. We were surrounded by families watching it all unfold and it's hands down one of my favorite memories of the trip.
The timing changes each day since the time of sunset also changes, so ask a Cast Member while you're there what time it will happen that night.
I took this photo of the iconic Flo's V8 Cafe moments after it lit up with the music playing in the background and surrounded by kids running around with bubble wands, remembering my own boys' obsession with these movies when they were little. I think we had a hundred of the little Matchbox-style Cars character toys when they were small.
