Like I’d told you yesterday, I ran over to Magic Kingdom with the kids on Sunday to see the holiday decorations only to find that the tree wasn’t up yet. I saw it went up yesterday, so we missed it by one day—and I expect we’ll run over again one evening this week to see it. But I’m not mad that we missed it on Sunday. If it had been up, I expect we’d have left with an SD card full of tree pictures and little else. Because there was no tree, we looked a little more at the smaller details. The bunting on the train station that I shared yesterday. The wreaths. The bits of decor on the shops on Main Street, U.S.A.
Like this view of the Confectionary. I shared a few images through the Halloween season of this area done up with pumpkins and autumn-inspired bunting and banners. Now it’s all greenery and ornaments and red bows. I love how it changes the whole mood of this place.
Even the air seems to have noticed, as we’ve gotten just a touch of overnight sweater weather these last few days. Bring it on.
