I wrote about my trip to Magic Kingdom on Thursday evening when I shared the grey castle photograph, and how I roamed the park for a while after the initial walk down Main Street. After the sun set I switched to my beloved 50mm f/1.2 lens to really play with the light. One of the places where I spent some time was right here, by the carousel. With it in motion I opened my lens all the way up to f/1.2 and slowed my shutter to 2/5 of a second, locking my ISO at 100 so that the lights didn't blow out the image, then held as still as possible and captured this.
Edits were gentle just to draw out the colors and details a bit and remove a few distractions, leaving only this one little girl who was rendered anonymous in the most perfect way by the slow shutter speed.
